About Us

Tackling Food Poverty
Across Guildford

Guildford Food Bank was founded in 2018 by local residents determined to make a difference. Today we are a registered charity with 27 volunteers, four distribution points, and thousands of families supported every year.

What began as a small-scale community initiative has grown into a vital lifeline for families and individuals across the Guildford borough. We provide emergency food parcels to people in crisis — offering three days' worth of nutritionally balanced food alongside essential toiletries and hygiene products.

As a registered charity (No. 1209747), we are committed to transparency, accountability, and ensuring that every single donation is used as effectively as possible. We serve the communities of Guildford, Godalming, Cranleigh, and Burpham through our four distribution points, supported by 27 dedicated volunteers who give their time freely and with extraordinary compassion.
